Started out yesterday around noon and stopped in St. Catherines before crossing the border. Once across, I kept going until I got to Painesville, Ohio. This is a place that my family used to stop at when we were kids when we went on road trips to visit our friends in Ohio. We didn’t have to stop, but we wanted to and we always stayed at the Quail Hollow Inn, which is still there.
Got to North Canton about 7 and went out with one of my favourite people, Joe Rozsa and his daughter Ally. Had an awesome time at a German restaurant and cheered on the Boston Red Sox against the Cleveland Indians, since the “Tribe” is now going to face our Toronto Blue Jays. Have told Joe and Ally they will have to come to town for the games!
Today, I’m heading south to visit some family friends for lunch and then head further south to visit Shelly Peacock. Have been in three states so far, and will go through another two today. Forgot to do my pushups for the last few days, so time to catch up, some in every state I think!
